My Journey in Chiropractic
Early Interest in Health and Wellbeing
During my teenage years, I developed a keen interest in health and wellbeing, aspiring to join the health care profession to help others achieve and maintain good health. While I was certain that I did not want to become a medical doctor, I remained unsure of which specific path to pursue.
Discovering Chiropractic
At the age of sixteen, I met a Chiropractor, an encounter that ignited my curiosity and ultimately led me to enrol in the Sydney College of Chiropractic in 1990. My early experiences in the field, particularly my exposure to the Gonstead System of Chiropractic, shaped my understanding and appreciation for the precision and power of a well-executed chiropractic adjustment.
Professional Development
After graduating in 1994, I began practicing in various clinics across Australia, taking on locum relief positions. In 1997, I travelled to the United Kingdom to practice in central London. In July 2000, I established The Chiropractor at North Sydney and have been dedicated to building the practice ever since.
Academic Contributions
Between 2000 and 2016, I served as a tutor and lecturer in the Gonstead Technique at Macquarie University, and also lectured at Central Queensland University. Since 2020, I have been a member of the Academic Board at the Australian College of Chiropractic, contributing to the Program Development Committee and continuing to lecture in Gonstead Technique.
Leadership and Teaching
My commitment to continued education and professional growth is reflected in my involvement with the Gonstead Chiropractic Society (Aust), where I am a Fellow and former President, and regularly teach classes and workshops throughout Australia. I hold an Advanced Certificate in Extremities from GCS(Aust), with a particular interest in treating extremity joint conditions.
Sports Chiropractic
In 2003, I earned a Graduate Certificate in Sports Chiropractic from RMIT, and I remain passionate about nurturing the athletic potential in every patient.
Personal Interests and Activities
I am a strong believer in living life to the fullest through an active lifestyle, and I maintain a deep interest in sports. I participate in cricket, ocean swimming, surfing, and compete in Surf Lifesaving carnivals. In addition, I volunteer as a surf lifesaver and Jet Ski Operator for Killcare Surf Club, and regularly play the bagpipes at community events in and around Sydney.
Family Life
I am married to Katherine and we have three sons: Angus, Lochlan, and Ewan.

Through my younger years I had a deep love for basketball, and was lucky enough to play at the national level. Through years of intense training and matches I developed injuries that accumulated to eventually caused ongoing pain and discomfort, many years and visits to various doctors could not help.
In searching for a solution to my problem I found Chiropractic and a Gonstead Chiropractor. Through the holistic Gonstead Chiropractic care offered, I saw vast improvement in my sports injuries and found myself performing better on the court as well. Most importantly, I felt an overall enhancement in my wellbeing.
These astounding results led to my newfound interest in Chiropractic practice. I first started off as a Chiropractic Assistant at a successful local practice. Seeing the many patients who suffered from the same complaints as I did, and the relief Chiropractic care brought them further reinforced my understanding of Chiropractic and motivated me to become a Chiropractor.
Moving to Melbourne I completed my double degree in Chiropractic and Health Science at the Royal Melbourne Institution of Technology (RMIT), graduating with distinction. During my time at RMIT I have provided Chiropractic care to several AFL teams in Melbourne, in addition to my regular clinical training. Through attending numerous seminars and workshops, I have come to learn the Gonstead Technique produced the best results and most holistic care for my patients.
In March 2021 I moved to Sydney to join the team at The Chiropractor at North Sydney. Here, I strive to provide the best care aimed at continuously improving my patients’ quality of life through the application of the Gonstead System.
I am a member of the Gonstead Chiropractic Society Australia, Australian Chiropractors Association (ACA) and Sports Chiropractic Australia (SCA).
I speak four languages- English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay.

From a young age I knew that a being in the health industry was where I wanted to be.
After finishing school, I started an exercise and sports science degree – not knowing much about Chiropractic at all I found myself continuously being drawn to the spine and its impact on the communication between the brain and the rest of the body; which is where my Chiropractic journey began. I completed a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science degree and a Master of Chiropractic degree both at Macquarie University. However, right here at The Chiropractor at North Sydney as a Chiropractic assistant was where I found a passion for the Gonstead System of Chiropractic. My interest for the Gonstead system has grown over the years and I cannot wait to put all that I have learnt into practice.
When I’m not in the clinic treating patients you will most likely find me playing oztag, swimming or spending time with my family.
Here at The Chiropractor at North Sydney I aim to deepen my knowledge and understanding so that I can assist in making positive changes to everyone’s health care journeys. I hope to facilitate individuals in achieving their goals through all aspects of life.
I am a current member of the Gonstead Chiropractic Society as well as the Australian Chiropractic Association.

I have always been interested in health and vitality and I am passionate to help others to live a healthier life. I grew up being exposed to Chiropractic, Osteopathy and Homeopathy from a young age which has awakened my interest in alternative health care. I started and completed a physiotherapy degree believing that this was the right path for me. Realising that physiotherapy did not satisfy my goals I entered into Chiropractic degree in Australia.
During my studies in Australia I have attended multiple Seminars refining my Chiropractic skills and techniques including Gonstead, Activator Technique and BGI. I have experienced various Chiropractic techniques on myself and applied them in practice but found the most profound result using the Gonstead analysis and approach.
My mission is to continuously learn and deepen my knowledge so that I can treat every patient as an individual and do everything I can to help him or her to reach their optimum health. A healthy nervous system and spine assist the body to work at its best, regardless of the age and condition.
In my free time I love to travel, spent time in nature, play tennis and do yoga. I can speak multiple European languages. Australia is my favourite country, because of the great people and beautiful nature and lifestyle. I am very grateful to be able to work with Andrew and Sunday and to help my current and future patients.
